Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding
Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding nowadays is a leading higher educational institution in Ukraine which trains specialists for home shipbuilding and similar branches of industry as well as for Europe, Asia and Africa. During its 100-year history the university has trained more than 100 thousand specialists for home and foreign shipbuilding. The chief aim of the university scientific work is to develop fundamental and applied research activities which are intended to solve urgent problems of shipbuilding, marine industry and other fields of industry.The university successfully works eight research institutes, more than 40 scientific and subcontracting collectivesand institutes, 7 industrial laboratories.The university also includes 30 scientific schools which are the centres of scientific thought with worldwide acceptance.
